Our Vision/Mission

School Counseling Program Vision
The students at MVMS will be self-directed, contributing members of society who exhibit positive relationships, promoting productive citizenship in the 21st Century. Our students will become resilient learners who accept academic challenges, leading to accomplishment of goals and a successful transition to high school and college and/or career domains.
 
School Counseling Program Mission
The mission of the MVMS counseling department is to cultivate a safe and secure environment for every student. We provide access to a strong foundation in the academic, social/emotional, and college/career areas of development through a data informed implementation of the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) national model. The students at MVMS are empowered to reach their full potential through dynamic collaborative partnerships with community, school and home.
