Parent Resources

Valued Partner

"You are your child's first and most important teacher."

Parents are valued partners at Mountain View and we believe that successful learning is achieved through strong connections with parents and other members of the community. Our goal is to increase communication between the school, the home, and the broader community. When you know what is happening at school, you have the information you need to support your child at home.

Our school provides many ways to keep you informed. The first and most important communication tool is Parent Connect. By using this web tool you can keep track of your child's grades and attendance. In addition, each teacher at Mt. View has an email address and by filling out a simple form you can contact them at any time with your questions and concerns.  Finally, you can attend school site council meetings and become informed about the many great things happening at Mt. View.

On the left you will also find a list of educational links that will help your child become more engaged in their learning. Our goal at Mt. View is to provide you the resources you need to make your child's middle school experience the most rewarding it can be.
Come and knock on our door! Our teachers always welcome parents into their classrooms. If you would like to have a better idea of how your child's class runs or observe your child in the classroom, come in and see us. Contact your student's teacher or just check in at the front office to obtain a visitor name tag. We've been waiting for you!
