Principal's Message

 

Dear Mountain View Middle School Cougar Families,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year at Mountain View Middle School! I’m excited to kick off another incredible year with our amazing students, families, and staff. We have many engaging learning opportunities and fun events planned that will make this school year one to remember.

One of the most important parts of a great school like Mountain View is the strong partnership between home and school. Throughout the year, you’ll have many opportunities to get involved and stay connected—whether it’s attending School Site Council or English Language Advisory Committee (ELAC) meetings, or joining in on the many activities and events that help make our school such a vibrant and supportive community.

 

It is truly an honor to work alongside our dedicated and professional staff—proud recipients of multiple prestigious recognitions, including:

  • 2023 California and National Schools to Watch Award

  • 2025 SEL4CA Platinum Award for Systematic Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Implementation from the Social Emotional Learning Alliance for California

  • Platinum PBIS School Recognition by the California PBIS Coalition for both the 2023–2024 and 2024–2025 school years

 

These honors reflect our continued commitment to academic excellence, student well-being, and a positive, inclusive school culture.
